We are fundraising so we can go support the Derby City Dragons at their International Breast Cancer Dragon Boat Festivals.
Our mom joined the Derby City Dragon, a dragon boat competitive team made up of all breast cancer survivors. They are dedicated to make a difference through dragon boat racing and their involvement in community activities.
We want to help them with their mission:
- to raise awareness of breast cancer in our community
- to restore physical, emotional, and spiritual health of our mom and other survivors
- to transform life challenges through encouragement and support
- to watch her commemorate her brothers and sisters who have lost the battle with breast cancer
- to "awaken the dragon" in each of us, celebrating life, one stroke at a time.
